An Arts Research Initiative
Business Times Budding Artists Fund
How is Kenn Foundation collaborating with BT BAF on this arts research initiative?
Kenn Foundation believes in the value of arts as an enabler to develop the potential of children and youths. Hence, in partnership with BT BAF, a Fund which supports young beneficiaries from financially-disadvantaged backgrounds with access and opportunities in the arts, Kenn Foundation will sponsor and develop a research plan to support BT BAF in an evaluation of its art programmes.
What is the value of this Arts Research Initiative?
The research is intended to measure the impact of BT BAF’s arts training and exposure programmes on its beneficiaries from the ages six to 19. The results will allow BT BAF to refine its programmes, as well as strengthen BT BAF’s engagement with stakeholders such as parents, schools, donors and the general public.
About the Business Times Budding Artists Fund
BT BAF strongly believes in the importance of the arts in the development of character– especially in cultivating social and emotional competencies amongst young people. The Fund seeks to make the arts accessible for children and youths from financially disadvantaged backgrounds and is instrumental in providing them with opportunities to discover their talents.
