WHAT WE DO

SUSTAINABLE AND IMPACT-DRIVEN GRANTMAKING

Impact Philanthropy

Impact philanthropy contrasts giving on impulse, with its focus on:

– Maximising social outcomes, in terms of meaningful improvements to the lives of others
Consistent review of the giving programme, by comparing costs to impact achieved
Engagement with stakeholders, leveraging on existing programmes and resources to develop solutions

Kenn Foundation’s model of impact philanthropy can be understood in terms of four key prongs.
These help to shape Kenn Foundation’s involvement in philanthropic work:

Action Research
Act to uplift individuals, communities and enable access to opportunities through capacity and capability building

Cross-sector Collaboration
Connect funding, expertise, NGOs, companies and government bodies to do social good better

Empowering Innovation
Innovate with technology and creative solutions to solve social issues and challenges

Engaging through Conversation
Advocate by starting conversations so as to generate ideas, awareness and garner support for the causes we care deeply about
